Warm Up

-3 Rounds

10 Mountain Climbers

10 Push-ups

10 Jumping Jacks

Strength

-15 Minutes to Establish a 1 Rep Max Deadlift

WOD

-200 Yard Burpee Broad Jump For Time

5 Forward Rolls :)

10 High Box Jumps

20 PVP Pipe Pass Throughs

Skill

-Box Jumps

Workout of the day: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOLLY!

"Molly's B-Day WOD"

23 Thrusters (155/115)

*Every minute on the minute do 5 Box Jumps (28")

*This should be very heavy for every one.  If you can't do the prescribed weight then scale down but get as close as possible.  Nobody should be able to do this in 2 or 3 sets.  Push past your comfort zone and let's get stronger....together!:)

In honor of Rochelle's birthday, we will be dedicating today's wod to her. Hope you had a great day! Happy birthday Rochelle! Just think, if you were born in 1920 we would only have 20 KB Swings to do...

*Do 1 Burpee the 1st minute, 2 Burpees the 2nd minute, 3 Burpees the 3rd minute until you fail to get the number Burpees in for that minute

400 Meter Overhead Plate Carry (25/10)

50 Sit-ups (Chest 2 Knees)

*Everyone really seemed to love the overhead plate carries during the warm up yesterday:)  So we decided to throw them in today! 

*We can't say enough about the energy that has been in the gym lately.  The 6pm had 13 members last night.  Every single one of them were kipping like pros before they left.  :)  We also want to take an opportunity to personally thank each and everyone of you for making CrossFit Terre Haute a success and trusting us with your fitness.  We have offically been an affiliate for about a month now and already were hitting max capacity during the evening classes!!  Everyone is drinking the KOOL-AID!  Remeber to tell your friends about what we're dong here so we can continue to grow and you'll be  helping change someone's life in the process!!  See everyone soon!

50 Kettlebell Swings (53/35)

*Man the energy was insane last night.  I'm pretty sure we hit a record for how many people we had in the gym at a given time.  I think throughout the 3 classes we had over 30 members throwing down.  You honestly can't beat that.  Keep it up everyone and one day the entire building will be ours to WOD in:)  Just imagine what we will be able to do then??:)

*Today we're looking at rowing and kettlebell swings.  In my opinion two of the nastier movements in our sport!  Go hard everyone and let's see what we can accomplish!!

*Remember if you don't yet have an exercise journal try and do so this week.  It's one of the most important parts of our program...Evidence Based Fitness!!  Any questions on this please let us know.

*Today we will hit a good warm up to get out bodies loose.  We will then go through the steps of an effective press, followed up by everyone finding their 3 rep max.  Oh and then before you leave you have to do a 10 minute amrap of box jumps and burpees:)
